What better way to spend a lazy Sunday evening than with loved ones, ice cream and a movie? This past Sunday, March 27, a movie was played on the football field housed behind the school. The several people who showed up were dressed in their pajamas and enjoyed the snacks provided, which ranged from popcorn to banana splits. The movie showed was Dark Shadows, directed by Tim Burton.

Chief of Police, Ame Paragorn mentions how "Elk Point needs more events like this to make it feel like a community. We need more to bring us out of our homes and work or spend time together." Do you agree? Would you like to see another event like this for the Elk Point community? Send us a message at Elk Point Times and give us your opinion!
