On Friday May 12, the Mermaid Lounge hosted an event called Amateur Night. They opened up the poles for people to dance on and have a lot of fun. The fun was abruptly ended when Chloe Williams, previously arrested for allegedly kidnapping Sergeant Suzi Recreant, aimed an unregistered gun towards club manager, Michele Magnuson.
Along with the gun, there was also mention of a small fire that broke out which was allegedly put out by Ms. Williams. Arresting officer, Daimon O'Quinn, handled the situation with effectively and efficiently. Ms. Magnuson sent the event attendants home after the arrest was made due to significant damage to the club.
Possession of an illegal firearm is a heavy crime and the night ended in chaos. Ms. Williams was arrested and spent several nights in jail.
