An Evening of Memories

The biggest event of the year yet, Prom, was held on Saturday May 20th. The events started at 1PM SLT with a lunch by the marina in front of the hospital. Despite the free food and drinks, there were only a few in attendance.
Events continued on through the day that led the gentlemen and ladies of Elk Point to a temporary salon near the Elk Point Times shop. The inside was decorated for prom attendants to do their hair, makeup and even get dressed there as dressing rooms were provided.
At 6PM SLT, the venue behind the school started to fill several people all dressed up in their most formal gowns. Several girls came with unicorn horns attached to their foreheads. It was a fashion statement to go with theme of Fairytale!

Without conducting any interviews, it is very obvious to the Times staff every one who attended prom had plenty of fun and made brand new memories.
